Noctaura is a sculptural planter defined by shadow, texture, and vertical movement.
Its branching form rises from the base in layered, tendril-like arcs, creating lift and negative space around the planting bowl. Light catches only the outer edges of the structure, while the matte black surface absorbs and softens the rest, allowing the form to shift between texture and silhouette depending on its surroundings.
The piece is printed as a single, seamless object and hand finished to a deep, light-absorbing matte. Unlike other Plantaura forms, Noctaura is intentionally more restrained and architectural, designed to hold presence without relying on symmetry or brightness.
The open bowl sits elevated above the base, giving plants room to trail, hover, or stand alone as a focal point. This design does not include an integrated water catch, allowing the structure to remain open and visually lighter.
Noctaura is intended to be used, not staged.
It is well suited for trailing plants such as pothos, ivy, or cuttings, as well as single-stem compositions that benefit from space and contrast.
Dimensions: 9″ wide, 8″ long, and 5″ high, with an inner bowl opening of approximately 6 inches.
Material: Lightweight, plant-based PLA with a matte finish.
