Aeris
Its folded, flowing form lifts the planting bowl in soft, layered waves, shaped as if held in place by air rather than weight. Light moves gently across each contour throughout the day, creating shifting highlights and quiet shadows. The piece is printed as a single, seamless form and hand finished to a smooth, stone-matte texture.
At the base, a hidden internal water-catch is built directly into the structure, collecting excess moisture without the need for a separate saucer. This allows plants to be watered directly while keeping surrounding surfaces protected.
The interior bowl is subtly tapered and integrated into the overall form rather than treated as a separate container. Plants settle naturally into the shape as they grow, encouraging a more tactile, lived-in relationship with the piece.
Aeris is intended to be used, not staged.
Well suited for small houseplants, cuttings, or compact foliage. The 8″ scale gives the piece a light sculptural presence without the visual weight of traditional ceramic planters.
