Interlace Planter — Sculptural 8″ Planter with Integrated Water Catch

Interlace is a sculptural planter shaped by connection, repetition, and open structure.

Loops of form rise and fold into one another, creating a woven geometry that feels calm, deliberate, and quietly architectural. Light passes through the open structure, softening edges and casting layered shadows that shift throughout the day without dominating the space.

The piece is printed as a single, seamless form and hand finished to a smooth matte surface with a subtle, tactile quality. Produced in small batches, each planter carries slight surface variation that reflects the process while maintaining a consistent overall form.

An integrated water catch is built directly into the base, collecting excess moisture and protecting surrounding surfaces without the need for a separate saucer. The system is functional and unobtrusive, remaining visually tied to the structure rather than hidden or added on.

Interlace is designed to be planted directly, encouraging a more hands-on relationship with the object and the plant it holds. It is intended to be used, not staged.

It works well with succulents, trailing plants, or single-stem compositions that benefit from space and openness. At an 8-inch scale, Interlace brings softness and structure to desks, shelves, and windowsills without feeling heavy.

Dimensions and construction:
The planter measures approximately 7 inches wide, 7 inches long, and 6 inches high. It is made from lightweight, plant-based PLA with a matte finish and includes an integrated water catch.
